Urban Decay has recently released their 2013 Christmas range and one of the amazing products they have launched is the ‘Vice 2’ palette. The ‘Vice 2’ palette is a follow up to the limited edition ‘Vice’ palette launched last year which sold out very quickly. This year it is back for a limited time only, but ten times better than its predecessor.
The new palette comes with 20 brand new shades which really makes it a limited edition product. These exclusive shades feature Urban Decay’s ‘Pigment Infusion System’ which gives the eye shadow formula its velvety texture and rich colour. The shadows literally feel like soft butter to the touch and blend beautifully. Every single colour is extremely pigmented which is what you should expect with all Urban Decay products as their quality is fantastic. There are a variety of neutrals, bright and jewel tone colours that come in metallic and satin finishes. In addition, there is virtually no fallout especially when used with a primer base on your eyelid and you can build your shadow to whatever intensity you like, from a natural daytime look to a dramatic party look.
This palette is fun to use and you can create endless looks because there are so many colour combinations you can experiment with. The eye shadows are stunning and these bright, bold colours will compliment all of your Asian outfits. The colours blend perfectly and last for up to 14 hours without creasing.
The overall packaging is very pretty and funky, a definite upgrade from the original ‘Vice’ palette. At a touch of a button, the lid pops up slowly providing a sturdy and strong case which is durable and easy to clean. It also comes with a full size mirror inside the lid that stays propped up so that you can easily apply make-up anywhere, as well as a double-ended eye shadow brush.
A lot of thought and detail has gone into creating this palette and is definitely worth the money because you get 20 eye shadows that, if bought individually, would be very pricey. If I had to critique something about this product it would be that the ‘Vice 2’ is a limited edition product rather than being part of their permanent collection which is available all year round. I’m sure this palette will sell out soon so if you’re a fan of Urban Decay products, don’t miss out on this!
